https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=384657 Summary: kwin "forced close" dialog has wrong encoding for target window title Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Beta 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: llunak@novell.com ReportedBy: mvidner@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- When I try to close a window and the app does not respond, kwin helpfully asks me whether I want to force the closing. But in KDE4, it quotes the window title wrong, as if it interprets UTF-8 as Latin1(2?): 'Window "Å molka norská, nádherný pták, krásnÄopeÅen" is not reponding...' I forgot the exact wording, but the rest of the Czech message is displayed properly. Also don't know how to create an unresponsive application to reproduce the bug. Stopping it by ^Z does not help. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
