https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=384617 Summary: Volume OSD and Fn-keys not functioning correctly on Gateway MX6445 Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Beta 1 Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Sound AssignedTo: tiwai@novell.com ReportedBy: jinksys@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Created an attachment (id=211033) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=211033) On Screen Display when Fn-PgUp (volume up) is pressed. Taken in Winxp. openSUSE 11.0 beta1 on Gateway MX6445 http://support.gateway.com/s/Mobile/Q106/Blade/1009110nv.shtml --- The keyboard Fn key combos for increasing/decreasing the volume are not changing the volume. When the Fn-key combo is pressed the OSD should appear and show the current volume as well as change the volume. However in 11-beta the OSD box appears but the volume is unchanged. In 10.3 the function keys did change the volume, however the OSD was distorted and left artifacts on the screen. The sound system is working and I am able to change the volume by using the applet in the tray. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
