[Bug 381999] Nonstandard version number for scsi. rpm gives dependency resolver trouble

I should note, that _some_ changes in such a version number can be parsed
correctly. But generally not. And of course such long version numbers make
column width calculation (for nice GUI or TUI output) useless. Consider
mapping the version number to either something made up, or e.g. a date or
svn revision.
