https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=381955 Summary: Unable to import mount points from an existing /etc/fstab Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dbolt.abiryy@davjam.org QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Beta-Customer Created an attachment (id=209328) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=209328) old fstab While partitioning a drive during a fresh installation, it is possible to import an existing /etc/fstab. However, this is broken in beta1 and is only able to identify the swap partition. This makes it difficult to identify partitions that shouldn't be reformatted, e.g. a pre-existing /home that is to be untouched, and any others that can be reformatted. I've attached the old /etc/fstab and a screen-shot showing the mount-points that are identified. As a "for your information", the partitioning is as follows: /dev/sda1 swap label=swap_1 /dev/sda2 /home label=_home /dev/sda3 / label=_ -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
