xorg-x11 will be selected due the patterns and will be installed. After the
installation xorg-x11 is not selected for installation cause it is already
installed. That is correct. I think the error is here:
2008-04-15 14:42:57 <1> linux(2606) [Pkg] Package.cc(searchPackage):560 Package
'xorg-x11' installed: false
although it has been installed:
2008-04-15 14:32:54 xorg-x11-7.3-73.i586.rpm installed ok
