Oh :-) no idea at all. I just run SLED10 and add a "Classic Clock" applet to
the panel:

<gconf>

<entry name="locked" mtime="1207144150"

<entry name="object_type" mtime="1207144150"
schema="/schemas/apps/panel

<stringvalue>bonobo-applet</stringvalue>

<entry name="panel_right_stick" mtime="1207144150"
schema="/schemas/apps

<entry name="use_menu_path" mtime="1207144150"

<entry name="launcher_location" mtime="1207144150"

<entry name="action_type" mtime="1207144150"

<entry name="attached_toplevel_id" mtime="1207144150"

<entry name="bonobo_iid" mtime="1207144150"

Perhaps that was a SLED10 patch/rename such that people were silently upgraded
to the 'IntlClock' applet (?).
If so, I guess (since we have no 'classic' clock anymore) - we should also
upgrade them to the new IntlClock (?)
Why was I using the classic clock anyway ? - the other one was crashing the
panel (an e-d-s bug apparently now fixed).
HTH.
