+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #372391 +++

The scripts for dhclient apparently do not change the configuration for ntpd,
even though this has been requested in /etc/dhclient.conf. On SLES10, as far as
I can see, /sbin/dhclient-script never even evaluates $new_ntp_servers.(On
openSUSE 10.3 it pointlessly writes the content of the variable to
/var/run/ntp/servers, which never gets picked up anywhere.)

I agree with the customer that failing to set this parameter is a bug,
especially as dhcpcd handles it correctly. (See #366011 why they just cannot
use dhcpcd.)
