Hello,

(In reply to comment #12 from Wolfgang Heep)
I thought that this warn log can help you:

Feb 15 05:04:06 acima kernel: RSP <ffff810054109bf8>
Feb 15 05:04:14 acima kernel: kernel BUG at mm/slab.c:2746!
Feb 15 05:04:14 acima kernel: CPU 0

This BUG is preceded by a bunch of failures in VFS and MM paths, so the machine
state is very flaky at this point and this BUG message doesn't really tell
much.

I also hoped that you start a bit earlier with your investigations and not one
month after reporting.

Yeah, indeed. The bug report was in February. Sorry about the delay.

I have used SuSe since 6.1 and it was always nice for me without any problems.

But I can't live with a continues freezing system like the problem I've
described above.
Now I have tried Debian 4.0 and at the moment it is ok for my needs. What I
can
say SuSe is much more comfortable to install as Debian.
I will not reinstall SuSe 10.3 only to reproduce the bug cause it looks that I
am the only one who has this failure.
May be I try the next release 11.0 and see what happen.

From my point you don’t need to investigate longer at this bug.

I'm resolving the bug as NORESPONSE for now. Please re-open or file a separate
bug report (for 11.0) if you can reproduce the problem.

Thanks.
