I've created a nautilus patch to unmount volumes it mounted when logging out.
It's a bit ugly, since the callbacks will never be called (we're leaving the
main loop), but it should still work, I guess. It's also at
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/vuntz:/factory-playground/op...
Also I'm surprised that the normal halt process doesn't unmount all volumes.
Looking in the halt and reboot init.d scripts, I see this line commented out
"#umount -anvt proc". I thought that "umount -a" unmounts everything that's
listed in /etc/mtab. I'm just not sure what it does when you add "-t proc"...
It's commented out because we don't want to unmount /proc but according to the
umount man page, "umount -a" doesn't umount proc filesystems since version 2.7
(and we have version 2.13.1). Hrm. Or does your halt.local fix do more than
just "umount -a"?
