I have no idea :-)
I'm adding random people to cc:
- Danny for his HAL experience
- Timo for everything hotkey etc
- Thomas for thinkpad_acpi
- Holger because he knows a lot about thinkpads.

As a workaround, you could play with the "bluetooth" module parameter, but i
have no idea how it needs to be given. From reading the code it is like

modprobe thinkpad_acpi bluetooth=enable

but i cannot verify this since i have no BT module built in :-)
