Hi Mike, hi Vladimir,

yes, my resolution is 1280x800. And when I start display using the command from
comment #11, I do not get readable fonts. It looks exactly as the attachment
from comment #2. 

I will check the installation of my fonts --- I am not sure where I got them
from. The OS is Suse 10.0 upgraded to 10.3.
