https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=371576 Summary: Some encrypted DVDs (film) play only with root privileges Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: fabio.beretta@bluebottle.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Other I am using the Kaffeine player for play of commercial DVDs. I have installed the appropriate libdvd libraries to play DVDs. Still for some DVD it is impossible to play them unless using the root user. The typical error shown by Kaffeine is: "The source can't be read" I have browsed the internet for a solution but the only thing I understood is that there is some sort of problem with permission when obtaining decryption keys. Hope you can help. Thanks for your useful distribution.
