This also happens on another machine, only difference is, the inflation takes
place indexed now:

ls /media
disk  disk-1  disk-2  disk-3  disk-4  .hal-mtab  .hal-mtab-lock  SU110Alp.001

where disk is a Sony 128MB Memory stick
