--- Comment #27 from Stefan Dirsch
I've tried xkeyboard-config-1.2-18.noarch.rpm. It works great. Thanks! The problem with the remaining 3 keys who don't work seems to be that they still have key code bigger than 8 bit: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Microsoft_Natural_Ergonomic_Keyboard_4000#Moder... showkey gives me the following key codes: zoom in: 418 zoom out: 419 spell checker 432 There's also a very small kernel patch for this problem...
However, I've still 2 questions:
1.) Should I report the missing support for nek4k in SaX2 as a seperate bug?
Yes, against kernel component. Please add me to Cc. Thanks!
2.) KDE3 aplications does still not recognize all of the multimedia keys. KDE4 applications even makes errors when recognizing that. I asume this are KDE problems and not X problems? So should I report this as KDE issues?
Which multimedia keys are not recognized by KDE? See mapping in comment #20. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
