--- Comment #2 from Michael Andres 2008-03-10 07:00:33 MST ---
I admit it's not very obvious, but after parsing the content file
[parser::susetags] ContentFileReader.cc(parse):513
Done parsing /var/cache/zypp/raw/openSUSE-FACTORY 11.0cyJ9Lk/content[_eF_]
no download jobs are added. This usually happens if the content file does not
contain the checksums of meta data files:
META SHA1 c56b5a9bb561fc73720098700a79cec997f1a738 packages.gz
@Peter: Could you please verify that the content file located in the root of
the directory tree does not contain any 'META SHA1...' lines?
---
Future libzypp versions will print a summary and throw an exception if there
are no meta files defined.
[zypp] Downloader.cc(download):88 RepoIndex:
RepoIndex checksums: META files 110, HASH files 5, KEY files 6
@Ladislav A glimpse at ProductCreator.ycp shows:
global boolean SignSUSEtagsSource(string gpg_key, string dir, string
passphrase)
{
// export the key
boolean success = ExportPublicKey(gpg_key, dir);
// update SHA1 sums
success = success && UpdateContentFile(dir, "suse/setup/descr");
It looks like UpdateContentFile adds the MATA tags in SignSUSEtagsSource. If an
unsigned source should be usable, these tags must be added anyway.
