The normal key are working fine again? Honestly I didn't expect this. So this
is great news for me!

Which keysyms do you see for the special keys in xev? Is this "XF86WWW" for
<WEB> and "XF86Documents" for the rest? Then we could find some more
appropriate keysyms as also mentioned in

Note: The sample XF86* Keys can be substituted with others of your liking
from /usr/share/X11/XKeysymDB. The various keysyms X uses are listed
in /usr/include/X11/keysymdef.h , without the leading XK_.

/usr/include/X11/keysymdef.h is in package xorg-x11-proto-devel.

Maybe you want to come up with a proposal?
