Symptoms: 1. The notice "Your X server is using the RandR extension at version 1.2 or greater which doesn't have any configuration yet" is shown in the KDE control centre for the display. 2. Error message "SaX2 could not provide the activation of the 3D subsystem because 3D might not be supported by the graphics card." 3. Some messages from the command "glxinfo": Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0". Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual 4. I hear a loud noise from my computer box. Is the graphics fan constantly turning at full speed?
