This message should be harmless and should be set to a debug message (AFAIK
there is a patch that should get into mainline soon):
ACPI Exception (processor_core-0789): AE_NOT_FOUND, Processor Device is not
present [20070126]
Can you post a diff of the ASL fix and best also attache whole acpidump to
verify.

After fixing the DSDT by hand, powersaved doesn't crash anymore and a poweroffOops. Great. Are you sure it's the same problem?
