Summary: openSUSE updater doesn't show details of additional
updates
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Update Problems
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: kjames@xxxxxxxxxx

Found By: ---

Updater icon in panel shows orange star (additional updates available). Click
the icon, and the "New software for your system is available" dialog appears.
It says:

0 mandatory updates are about to be installed
[] include 2 additional updates
[] Don't install updates that require a restart

Check the box next to "include 2 additional updates", and hit the Details
button
Enter the root password, and the Initialsing Online Update window appears. The
repo data is downloaded from the various repos, Once this is finished, the
Patch Selector window appears, but is empty.

Surely this should display the 2 additional updates? I have seen this error
before, and if I just check the box and hit 'install' at the New Software
dialog, updates are installed (I assume, because if I right click->check now
after the process, the icon changes to the 'No updates are available' icon
