Because when removing /etc/X11/xorg.conf running sax2 from the runlevel 3 CLI
*without further options* it simply is not there :) sax2 does a wrong guess
which driver module to use.
Other symptoms are: When selecting to "change the configuration" I get a
warning that 3D acceleration is not supported on my system. And the dualhead
option is missing.
BUT: everything is fine again when calling sax2 with
sax2 -r -m 0=nvidia
It makes no difference when sax2 is called from a graphical session from within
yast2, see the screenshot I will attach.
So there is something wrong with the auto-detection the module to use. Maybe
this has been like that ever since in 10.3, I don't know, but I think it has
worked in the past with the first version of sax2 provided.
Please ask for any specific log file that could help you.
