Status: NEW
Severity: Blocker
Priority: P5 - None

During a standard installation procedure (no kernel boot options) on a

1 x ASRock ALIVENF7G-HDREADY Board, BIOS rev. P1.70
1 x AMD Athlon X2 BE-2400 (2300 MHz, DualCore)
2 x 1 GByte RAM (DDR2-667), Kingston

1x AOpen 20x DL R/W SA DSW-2012SA Bl R (CD/DVD-Recorder with SATA-Interface)

the installation crashes at that point where the installer is detecting the
ISDN- Card, which is NOT installed. There is no way to change the Console with
Ctrl-Alt-Fx or doing a reboot with Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Only ha cold reboot get the system back running.

The tested Software was an ISO-Download of OpenSuSE 11.0 Alpha 1 in 32
Bit-Version.

On the same hardware an OpenSuSE 10.3 64-Bit-Version is installing and working
in a correct manner.

This System is used for testing powersave mechanism and Suspend to disk and
suspend to RAM (S1/S3/S4-Mode).

I yo wish further information do not hesitade to contact me.
