I am running a 32bit system on my 64bit hardware due to bug 358347.

In order to get the USB network interface of my Fritz!Box 5050 to work I had to
edit the file modprobe.conf.local manually, inserting the line:
alias eth1 usbnet

It took me a while to find this solution and it should therefore be set
automatically. 
Maybe this bug report is for YaST and not for Network.
