https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=358174 Summary: Updater applet does not show when updates are available in add-on repositories Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jrobiso2@ford.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Customer I run KDE. The updater icon only shows that updates are available if those updates are in the openSuSE-10.3-Updates repo. I have added other Update repositories (Packman, OOO-Stable, OOO-Extra, Mozilla) but when they have new updates, the icon does not say so. Only updates in the openSuSE-10.3 repo cause a notification. Not exactly sure when it started, but I do know that it used to work for all repo's in its list. If I had been thinking just now, I would have used YaST's Online Update interface, and again used CLI zypper command, to check and see if those methods showed them, but I was too quick on the mark when I saw the blue entries in the Software Manager and told it to update "all in this list". So at the moment I'm all up to date and can't test them! Next time an update comes out in another repo, I will update this bug entry. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
