[Bug 357598] CPU frequency scaling not working after upgrade to latest kernel (2.6.22. 16-0.1-default)

Just for kicks I tried a modprobe on all the speedstep modules. They all failed
(no such device) except speedstep-lib.
That was on an Intel T2300 (32bit Core2Duo) which has 8 stepping levels
according to Intel's brag sheet.
