Since 21 January, the kernel logs messages like the following after the daily
automatic beagle indexing:
Jan 28 21:15:02 escher su: (to beagleindex) root on none
Jan 28 21:15:02 escher su: (to beagleindex) root on none
Jan 28 21:18:15 escher su: (to nobody) root on none
Jan 28 21:18:28 escher syslog-ng[2175]: last message repeated 6 times
Jan 28 21:18:28 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (33060)
Jan 28 21:18:28 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (30072)
Jan 28 21:18:28 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (31460)
Jan 28 21:18:28 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (30060)
Jan 28 21:18:28 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (30462)
Jan 28 21:18:29 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (31462)
Jan 28 21:18:29 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (57553)
Jan 28 21:18:29 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (30170)
Jan 28 21:18:29 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (30057)
Jan 28 21:18:29 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (72145)
Jan 28 21:18:29 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (71145)
Jan 28 21:18:29 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (55440)
Jan 28 21:18:29 escher kernel: init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (35063)
The parenthesized numbers are always the same. I have also seen other bogus
i_mode messages since 21 January, mostly fewer, sometimes more and with other
numbers, but I think beagle is the only thing that has consistently led to
these messages. What do they mean? What is the connection to beagle?
