Summary: Khmer rendering in Firefox sometimes incorrect
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Final
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Firefox
AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: bart@xxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---

The default Firefox rendering engine renders Khmer unicode incorrectly in the
default installation. There are two ways to let it render correctly:
1) Change the language of the system to Khmer (km locale)
2) Add this to ~.profile :
export MOZ_ENABLE_PANGO=true

I guess that changing to km locale does the same thing. After this is done,
Khmer Unicode is displayed correctly.
Could this be set by default for the next version of openSUSE in some way? for
instance use Pango as the default rendering engine?
