[Bug 356621] PHP5: short_open_tag in php.ini no longer working after update

Indeed - I was using the wrong configuration file, was looking at /etc/php.ini!
/etc/php5/apache2/php.ini
.. had "short_open_tag = Off" and it's fixed by turning it to "On"
It does look like the php.ini file modified by the new rpm though (I checked
the previously installed apache2-mod_php5-5.2.0-16_19.i586.rpm and there it is
set to "On").
Before the update, I had actually checked the root mail, just to see if there
were any important changes in the rpm; but there's no mention of the change
(not in the rpm's changelog either) :-(
Anyway, thanks for your help - problem is solved for me!
