I installed also the software package "kde4-kdm" (version 4.0-17.1) on my
system.
When I want to start a new desktop session ("Switch User" feature), a dialogue
will be displayed that shows the available sessions. I do not need this display
if only one user is connected with a virtual terminal (usually "VT7").
