Just to mention it, I tested sax2-8.1-453.1 with my Logitech G5 and it writes a
wrong "Name" option to xorg.conf.
Instead of the needed "Logitech USB Gaming Mouse", the string "Logitech Gaming
Mouse" is written and the the mouse is unresponsive, due to a "(EE) PreInit
returned NULL for "Mouse[1]" in Xorg.99.log.
So I inserted the "USB" manually into xorg.conf and all works fine again. Shall
I open a new report?
PS:
Model: "Logitech USB Gaming Mouse"
Vendor: usb 0x046d "Logitech, Inc."
Device: usb 0xc041 "USB Gaming Mouse
