Joris, is the problem there after you installed the kernel of the day as from
comment #8 ?

As Jeff explained, the "bug" will be fixed in a future patch for the kernel. As
a workaround, if you don't want to see error messages (due to a wrong error
detection function), you can temporarily disable NCQ on the device as follows:

As root open the file /etc/rc.local and then add the following line (change
device accordingly):

sh -c "echo 1 > /sys/block/sda/device/queue_depth"

Save and reboot.
