It really was a 32 bit install of OpenSUSE 10.3. There's no nspluginwrapper
involved in this problem (and in fact SUSE 10.1 is showing the same problem on
several 32 bit machines too) unless 32 bit firefox does something I don't know
about...

(I'm not 100% sure it's a firefox problem - flash doesn't have this issue).
