Summary: Iconsistent name usage
Product: openSUSE 11.0
Version: Alpha 1
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Minor
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: Joachim.Reichelt@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: Beta-Customer

The system creates /dev/tape/.... if there is a tape found.
mt and related tools use as the default /dev/tape as the char-dev
(translated: mt: /dev/tape ist keine Buchstaben-Spezial-Datei)
it whould be nice to make (tar ?? and) mt using the first real tape, if there
is on.
I know, that several users/programmers insist of tar falling back to
stdin/stdout.
