Just make it so a user can't hang their system, is all I ask.
if it would be trivial, we would have an stable r/w in-kernel implementation.
go, blame microsoft for that for not open up the specs for ntfs. don`t blame
novell. really.

ntfs is damn complex stuff.
afaik, the driver is mostly done by reverse engineering.

just set mount options to read-only in /etc/fstab and use ntfs-3g if you need
write access.

ok - maybe it`s not optimal to have r/w mount by default, so novell should
really consider changing this. i recommend this and i assume this is what you
like to see !?

anyway - to know what goes wrong it would be very valuable information for ntfs
project and be happy that someone at novell wants to look at this.

getting qualified support is scarce - i can tell you stories, man :)
