i vote for that.

think you will get more complaints about a limited driver with limited write
support.

maybe if you automatically add a ntfs partition to fstab you could perhaps add
another commented line with the appropriate ntfs-3g mount. so the user just
needs to edit and change an swap the comment chars.

or make it an install option. when you scan for partitions and find ntfs
filesystem, ask the user what driver he wants to use and tell him what`s the
differences or limitation of each.(limited write support for kernel module -
limited performance, application issues (vmware etc) for ntfs-3g...)
