https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=353504 Summary: Kmail does not cancel its imap-job Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: sven.burmeister@gmx.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I use IMAP and at some point the imap folder does not get updated anymore. I guess this is because it lost connection or something, yet that should not matter. KMail shows that it tries to retrieve the content, but apparently fails to do so. Instead of retrying after a certain time it keeps that state forever. If the user cancels the job manually by clicking the cancel-button in kmail, the percentage does jump to 50% or even 100% eventually, yet the job is never aborted. Killing kio_imap4 does not help either, which is why I think that it is not a kio-issue but a kmail one. To solve this one has to quit kmail and make sure kio_imap4 dies before restarting. Using the packages provided in ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/wstephenson/kdepim-enterprise-update-test did not solve the issue. Expected behaviour: Cancel the imap-job if the user requests it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
