Hi,

Could your please try installing the suggested xulrunner version mentioned at
http://blogs.adobe.com/acroread/2007/09/adobe_reader_811_faqs.html .Download
xulrunner-1.8.1.3 from
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/xulrunner/releases/1.8.1.3/contrib/linux-i686/xulrunner-1.8.1.3.en-US.linux-i686.tar.gz,untar
the file,and set the libgtkembedmoz folder preference to the resultant
xulrunner folder. 
Also, could you post the link from where you have downloaded xulrunner-1.8.1.4
rpm.
