Summary: evo continuosly crashes at startup after an advanced
search
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Final
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Evolution
AssignedTo: bnc-team-evolution@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: skalyanasundaram@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: lakhil@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---
I did an advance search where I had only one text field to search in the mail
body. After I pressed Ok evo crashes. When I started the evo second time still
the search bar was active which causes continuous crashes at startup time.
I searched in my groupwise mails.
Either the crash need to fixed or atleast the search bar shouldn't be visible
during the startup. So atleast I could use it.
As workaround, start evo with calendar
evolution -c Calendar and disable groupwise account and open mails again and
clear off the searches and enables the groupwise account.
