X Server Vendor version 7.2.0
Test Case:
- Press fn+F7 or fn+F8 and no change in brigthness
- Looking at KPowersave settings, it specifies that "Your Hardware currently
not support changing the brightness of your display."
Extra Info:
- It seems to be a common problem among HP laptops and not limited to the
- I can used the functions keys up to the GRUB screen. As soon as an OS is
selected this function seems to be disabled after.
- Other fn+ keys work.
