The biggest concerns are:
- space needed, as new kernel requires creation of new initrd
- how to identify the number of kernels to keep

I'd say it should be the default. I'm not sure whether the updating of kernel
(installing the new and removing the old one right away) makes sense at all.
The biggest concerns are:
