Please, any news about this problem?
I think two people in our office have the same problem: *no* NFS mounts are
automatically mounted at system startup (even if they are marked as "auto" in
/etc/fstab). They must be started manually. If one of these mounts is /home,
then of course nothing works, which is a bit annoying. :-(
Raising severity as a common user (who does not know that it is enough to log
in as root and type "mount -a") would be lost. :-(
