https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=347078 Summary: Wireless network not found after resume from suspend to ram Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: uli.2001@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I am using KDE, Knetworkmanager and suspend to ram on a Thinkpad T60. After resume from suspend to ram, there seems to be a 50% chance that the wireless network is not found. I noticed this in particular when changing between different access points of the "same network" (same network name, but different access points) while the laptop was suspended. However, sometimes it works even after a change of location and sometimes it does not work without changing location, and vice versa. Also after resuming on a different network, no wireless network is found. Whenever this happens, restarting knetworkmanager and/or doing "rcnetwork restart" does not help. However, after a reboot, the network is always found. I do not believe that this is because of a weak signal; once the network is found, it works reliably, and after a reboot, it is always found. Additionally, no network at all is found even though several ones are within reach at some locations. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
