--- Comment #16 from Pat Campbell <plc@xxxxxxxxxx> 2007-12-06 07:51:28 MST ---
Differences:
openSuSE: Xen 3.1, kernel 2.6.22
SLES10: Xen 3.0.4, kernel 2.6.16

For the SLES10 screen resolution you could try setting the X11 subsystem to use
the VESA driver instead of the hardware driver. I do that by, as root:
cd /etc/X11
cp xorg.conf xorg.conf.orig
cp xorg.conf.install xorg.conf
Edit xorg.conf
at the bottom in the ServerLayout section set: Screen "Screen[vesa}'
( It is a hack but it works for me )

Restart your GUI. If that fails restore the orig file.

Do you have any other VT enabled systems you could try openSuSE on?
Can you attach a PS2 mouse, not USB, to your system? Does that make any
difference?

Finally you are not really answering my questions. Please answer the questions
in comment #14.
