[Bug 345124] S3 failed on AMD SB600/SB700+RS690/RS780 platform

I tried 2.6.18 10.2 kernel, but on my systems the Sata disk will not be
detected with this one... How did you test with those older kernels?
Pavel: S2ram seems to work here, modulo video.
Do you mean it works but screen always stays black (or only sometimes?)?
If yes, it is exactly what I see with the two (already sold) machines.
Henry: To get the video driver loaded you have to delete or comment the
contents of this file:
/etc/modprobe.d/xorg-x11-driver-video
Then:
modprobe video
-> The blacklist got removed recently and the video module should load
automatically soon (not 10.3).
This should give us brightness support on a lot machines (works fine here).
