--- Comment #10 from Carlos Robinson 2007-11-28 14:49:25 MST ---
Uh.
Now I have 10.3 (upgraded from 10.2) and I have been carefully watching it to
see if the problem persists, because I'm not sure. I believe I mostly can't
reproduce the problem, so my doubts. But sometimes I got an unexpected "glitch"
which could be "the problem", but it happens so few times that it catches me
unawares and I'm unsure.
The procedure to reproduce the problem was switching from a workspace where I
had been working to another in which an xterm had focus. If this xterm had Pine
running, the effect could be unpredictable, it got control keys in the buffer,
and as soon as I pressed any key they would be entered (control and chars)
triggering any action that was binded to them by the app. But as I say, I don't
see this in 10.3, or not consistently.
I do get it still when using [Ctrl][Alt][F7] to return from text mode to X11,
specially if I'm a bit slow releasing the keys - but that's Bug #141443
Mmmm... just now I had a glitch: mozilla became unresponsive. I switched to
another workspace, typed on an xterm, no problem, back, mozilla responded.
Dunno.
It seems "works for me" - or almost so.
Please, ask the original reporter, too.
