Nothing. The screen is locked, and that's it. If I enter my username and password, I'm back to the KDE session. If I don't enter my username and password, then nothing happens.
Suspend to RAM is working. I was just following the steps in http://en.opensuse.org/S2disk - one of the mentioned prerequisites for s2disk is working s2ram.
I should've probably made the bug report more clear. s2ram is working after the upgrade. s2disk does not work after the upgrade (neither from command line nor from kpowersave) unless
a) SUSPEND2RAM_FORCE="yes" is set in /etc/powersave/sleep, and
SUSPEND2RAM_FORCE has nothing to do with s2disk.
b) a new file, /etc/pm/config.d/config, is created by hand, containing HIBERNATE_METHOD="kernel".
Please remove this config option again and try the following: - start the system and add init=/bin/bash to the grub command line list - mount /proc - mount /sys - swapon -a - s2disk -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
