https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=343340 Summary: sshfs: 'sticky bit' permission does not work correctly Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: mszeredi@novell.com ReportedBy: vmarsik@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: System Test I mounted a remote filesystem as root via SSHFS. I created a new directory in /tmp, and the owner was root (this is correct). But deleting the directory was not allowed (this is incorrect). A bug in handling sticky-bit incorrectly ? Directories without sticky-bit seem to be OK. vmarsik@bonifac:~> sshfs root@bender:/ /mnt/bender vmarsik@bonifac:~> mkdir /mnt/bender/tmp/bla vmarsik@bonifac:~> rmdir /mnt/bender/tmp/bla rmdir: /mnt/bender/tmp/bla: Operation not permitted -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
