https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=343241#c1 Summary: Bluetooth not configurable Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: behlert@novell.com ReportedBy: yxu@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Other On my workstation, which has SuSE Linux 10.1 installation and later an update to 10.3 (alpha phase), bluetooth service is not configurable. When I right click bluetooth icon, and select "Configuration", then "Configure Services...", nothing happens. If I am at a connected bluetooth device, I can only select "OBEX File Transfer", but could not select "OBEX Object Push" (which will result an error message: Protocol not supported obex). So when I want to copy files from computer to a connected mobile phone for example, I can only grab the file, and put it under "OBEX File Transfer" (e.g. obex2://00:13:fd:c3:e4:ca@bluetooth:10/ ) , which is not as comfortable as just right click a file and select "send with bluetooth...". And I couldn't send files from phone to computer any more. I can find the computer, but if I try to send a file to the computer, it will always fail. Here are my bluetooth related packages: shaka:/suse/yxu # rpm -qa | grep blue kdebluetooth-lang-1.0_beta3-3 yast2-bluetooth-2.15.2-14 gnome-bluetooth-0.8.0-85 bluez-firmware-1.2-43 bluez-hcidump-1.35-9 bluez-utils-3.11-9 kdebluetooth-1.0_beta3-3 kdebluetooth-1.0_beta3-2 bluez-libs-3.11-7 bluez-cups-3.11-9 shaka:/suse/yxu # uname -a Linux shaka 2.6.22-rc4-git3-2-default #1 SMP 2007/06/12 15:00:04 UTC i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux shaka:/suse/yxu # cat /etc/SuSE-release SUSE LINUX 10.1 (i586) VERSION = 10.1 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
