Summary: genisoimage "Unexpected joliet directory length..." --
resulting CD unusable on Windows
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Final
Platform: x86
OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Other
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: rwhittaker@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---

Running genisoimage like this:
genisoimage -J -r -o test.iso test/

emits the message:
genisoimage: Unexpected joliet directory length 684 expected: 688 ''
before creating the iso.

The resulting iso appears OK when loop mounted, and when burned to disk is
readable on Linux, but not on Windows (tested on Windows 98 and 2000).

This is genisoimage-1.1.6-23 on openSUSE 10.3.

This seems to be a known problem from upstream:
