https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=342260 Summary: 1st keystroke not captured when trying to unlock desktop with running screensaver Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: vscheuber@novell.com QAContact: sndirsch@novell.com Found By: --- I'm running the KDE desktop since yesterday and was using SLED10 with the Gnome desktop before. I have set my screensaver to lock my desktop. When I try to unlock by typing my password, the first keystroke seems to terminate the screensaver and only the second keystroke (which is also the second character of my password) makes it into the password field. Obviously this makes me having to enter my password twice because I get it wrong the first time consistently. This might be intended/works as designed but is very disturbing to me coming from Gnome where the first keystroke would terminate the screensaver AND make it into the password field. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
