- I think you agree that the problem is part of the description and not part of kiwi, right ? Well, the package name starts with "kiwi...". I though it is a general template for any live system. The PDF documentation shipped with the Kiwi RPM says:

- I also updated the kwliveCD-suse-10.3 to the latest source. As you can see they _want_ that root has no password and with the pam call that also works. - If you don't want that simply change the description or even better rename it because I think your intention is not to create a live CD for openSUSE 10.3 :-)
If it is not a template and solely for oS10.3 you are right. Anyway. I know my way around the issue.
